Momodou Turo Darboe, through his Vision Development Foundation (VDF), recently gave out a cheque of D1, 610, 431.00M to various institutions and needy individuals.
The presentation of the cheque was part of his annual support to the Christian community during festivities marking Christmas.
The presentation was presided over by CEO, Momodou Turo Darboe, at the VDF headquarters in Churchill’s Town. The VDF has for the past 26 years distributed millions of dalasi to communities across the country in support of the poor.

It was not easy from the start, but thanks to the commitment of our able CEO who took it upon himself to single handedly support the foundation we are able to come this far and we want to say thank you to him and his family.”
Ousman Yabo, the executive director of Tango said: “We want more Turo Darboes in this country to end poverty. We have many people in this country who have more than what they need but are not coming forward to help.”
